Subscription orders are fully refunded within 30 days of purchase (Excluding inmate subscriptions) and prorated after 30 days.
*Due to differing rules Correctional Facilities have on allowing magazine subscriptions, we cannot guarantee delivery of subscriptions to them. No refunds will be given for undeliverable subscriptions to Correctional Facilities.
Does MagIllustrated.com accept returns?
No. Due to the perishable nature of the magazines, we are unable to accept returns for compensation. All sales are final for all products purchased on MagIllustrated.com
Does MagIllustrated.com provide any form of refund or compensation for packages lost/stolen, or damaged during transit?
No. All sales are final for all products purchased on MagIllustrated.com. If your package(s) are lost, stolen, or damaged after it has left our facility, you will need to contact www.USPS.com to complete a lost/damaged mail form. We will not be held liable for the package(s) once it has been handed over to USPS. For this reason we recommend purchasing priority shipping which includes insurance for your purchase by USPS.
Will you automatically renew my subscriptions like many magazine websites?
No, we do not automatically renew your subscriptions for you. We will send you an email a few months before your subscription has expired and invite you to renew your subscriptions through us. We will continue to provide you with the same quality subscriptions and service and hope you will continue to use us as your subscription agency.
When will I receive my subscription?
We process your subscription as soon as you place your order. The actual delivery date of your first issue will depend on how frequently the magazine you've ordered is published and when the next issue is scheduled to be distributed by the publisher. In general, you can expect to receive your first issue in 8 to 12 weeks. Weekly or more frequently published magazine should arrive within 6 to 10 weeks of your order. Monthly subscriptions generally take 8 to 12 weeks to start. For digital subscriptions, you will be sent an email by the publisher 2 to 4 weeks after placing your order with instructions on how you can view/download your subscription. You will then be emailed a link each time a new issue comes out. Be assured that these are standard industry lead times. Note that your subscription ultimately starts when you receive your first issue, not when you placed your order. This means that you will receive all the issues you subscribed to starting with your first issue.
I didn’t get everything I ordered and/or the wrong issue was sent to me. What do I do?
If there are discrepancies from what your original receipt says compared to what you have received, please contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org. If we determine we left out an item(s) in error, or we sent you the wrong issue of the correct title, we will ship the missed/correct item at no additional cost to you.
However, due to the perishable nature of magazines, if an item is left out of your order in error, we may not have the item in stock when you contact us. If this occurs, we will discuss with you alternate options. Additionally, if you received the wrong issue of the requested title, we will do our best to send you the correct issue number. If it is no longer available we will discuss with you alternate options.
I received a refund. Why?
There is a small chance an item you purchase will sell out between the time you place your order and the time the order is filled and ready for shipment. If this occurs, we will refund you immediately.
If you received a refund for a prison order, you may have ordered too many items or left important information off of the order ( like inmate number)
What happens if a prison order is returned?
Please note, we are not responsible for returns due to content. We will not investigate why a package was returned except to verify we processed the order properly. Magazines are perishable, meaning there is a very short window of time they can be sold. Because of this, we cannot issue refunds for magazines that have been rejected by a facility.
1. MagIllustrated.com ships an incorrect order
If a shipment is returned due to an error caused by our store (i.e. delivery address is not the address on your order) we will reship the magazines at no additional cost.
2. An inmate customer is transferred to a different address
We will reship to a new address but will require you to pay additional shipping fees. No other refunds are provided
3. An inmate customer is released or the order is rejected because we are not an approved vendor
It is up to the buyer to verify facility rules and inmate locationbefore making a purchase to ensure proper delivery. No other refunds are provided
4. More magazines are ordered than a prison facility allows and they are returned
Some facilities do not notify us why they rejected a package, so you will need to research this. No other refunds are provided.
What happens if an order is missing but NOT returned to MagIllustrated.com?
We provide a tracking number through www.USPS.com for all of our shipments. If the tracking number confirms a shipment was delivered and we can confirm the shipping information on the label matches the shipping address on the order we received, we are unable to offer a refund of any kind.
Correctional Facilities have different rules regarding what type of content is acceptable to receive, what companies are acceptable to receive items from, how an inmate is addressed on the package, etc. As the purchaser, it is your responsibility to ensure you verify all terms and conditions for the specific Correctional Facility you would like to ship to prior to placing an order. We have no control over what happens to a shipment once it leaves our store.
